Mary Mary’s Tina and husband Teddy Campbell divorcing after over 25 years
Tina and Teddy Campbell married in 2000 and have five children between them.
Gospel duo Mary Mary singer Tina and her husband of over 25 years, Glendon ‘Teddy’ Campbell, are ending their marriage.
Tina (51), who sings with her sister Erica Campbell (their identical married surnames are purely coincidental) in Mary Mary, as well as having their individual solo careers, has reportedly been separated from her estranged husband since 2024.
Tina and Teddy married in August 2000, but according to People Magazine, Teddy sought to dissolve their union when he filed the divorce papers at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday.
The couple has two minor children, Santana Campbell (13) and Glendon Theodore Campbell II (16). They also have adult children: Cierra, Laiah Simone, and Meelah Jane. Cierra is Teddy’s child from a previous relationship.
Mary Mary brought us hits like Shackles and Yesterday, amongst many others.
The duo has six Grammy nominations under their belt, with three resulting in wins of music’s most coveted award.
Between March 2012 and November 2017, their reality television series, also named Mary Mary, hit the screens. It is there that we learnt of Teddy’s affairs and Tina’s subsequent decision to forgive him, albeit with great difficulty and bouts of angry outbursts along the way.
Teddy is also an accomplished musician and singer, says the Daily Mail. He is a drummer, having worked on the Tonight Show house band and American Idol, as well as singing .
