Maputo (MOZTIMES) - Mozambique is set to revive domestic pilot training after the government approved the creation of a new National Academy of Aeronautical Sciences, a move aimed at reducing dependence on costly overseas training and strengthening the country's aviation sector.
Government spokesperson Salimo Vala announced the decision on Tuesday, following a meeting of the Council of Ministers, which also approved the closure of the National Aeronautics School, as part of a broader restructuring of the civil aviation sector.
