Namelok Wireless has launched a community network in Kimuka, along the Ngong–Suswa Road in Kenya, to expand access to affordable and reliable internet services for residents, public institutions and businesses.
The network is designed to provide connectivity to public schools, government offices, health facilities and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the area.
According to the company, the initiative is expected to support digital learning, improve access to online health information and services, and strengthen the delivery of public services. It will also enable local businesses to use digital tools to reach new markets, improve operational efficiency and expand their activities.
Namelok Wireless said the project highlights the role of community-led connectivity solutions in extending internet access to underserved areas and supporting inclusive social and economic development.
