By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can expect another unsettled day as moist and unstable conditions continue across the country.
The National Meteorological Service says skies will be sunny with cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight.
A few showers, periods of rain and thunderstorms are expected, particularly over northern and inland areas during the day.
Tonight, the rainfall activity is expected to shift mainly toward southern and coastal areas.
Temperatures will reach around 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 91 degrees inland and 81 degrees in the hills.
A small craft caution is also in effect.
Forecasters warn that winds could become gusty during heavy showers and thunderstorms, producing locally rough seas.
Operators of small crafts are being advised to exercise caution.
Marine conditions will generally be choppy, with waves between three and five feet.
Unsettled weather will continue into Monday, with a few showers, periods of rain and thunderstorms expected especially over northern areas.
Rainfall should gradually decrease and become isolated later Monday, except across southern Belize on Monday night.
Meanwhile, there are no immediate tropical threats to Belize.
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the region during the next 48 hours.
