Rawayana Signs Deal with United Talent Agency for Representation Across All Areas
Rawayana continues to be represented by Sound Of Light Entertainment and Brocoli Records.
Rawayana has signed a deal with United Talent Agency (UTA) for global representation across all areas, Billboard can exclusively announce Thursday (May 7).
With UTA’s representation in live touring, media, filmed entertainment, brand partnerships and more, the Venezuelan band plans to expand its international presence and future endeavors.
The news of the agreement comes in the midst of Rawayana’s nearly 50-date ¿Dónde Es El After? World Tour, which kicked off April 17 in Bogota’s Movistar Arena and will continue this month in Spain, followed by a streak of shows in Latin America.
The North American leg, promoted by Live Nation and Rimas Nation, will kick off officially on Oct. 15 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco and includes stops in cities such as Atlanta, Toronto, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, before wrapping up on Dec. 5 at the Kaseya Center in Miami.
“We’re choosing to live in the present with intention — to cross our fears without worrying about what might happen next,” Beto Montenegro, singer and leader of the band, previously told Billboard Español. “This tour is about dreaming forward together and stepping into a world full of possibilities, love, and passion for what we do.”
The Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning band — known for its fusions of Caribbean rhythms with funk, reggae, soul, house and rock — is behind some of the latest viral hits including “Hora Loca,” “Feriado,” “Veneka,” and “Inglés en Miami” with Manuel Turizo.
Rawayana will continue to be represented by Sound Of Light Entertainment and Brocoli Records.
