The Roads Authority (RA) has announced an increase in road user charges. This includes vehicle licence fees, abnormal load fees and road carrier permit fees. The change is effective 1 August.
RA says in a public notice released on Wednesday vehicle licence fees will increase by 10%, while abnormal load fees and road carrier permit fees will each increase by 20%.
“The approved Government Gazette, detailing the revised road user charges, will be published in due course,” it says.
