*Rolls-Royce is redefining what exclusivity looks like with Project Nightingale, the newest entry in its Coachbuild Collection.

While previous commissions like the Boat Tail and Droptail were produced in extremely limited numbers, this latest program opens the door to around 100 clients, each receiving an invitation to commission their own version of the vehicle, which is expected to cost seven figures, Jalopnik reports. The outlet also shared concept photos provided by the British luxury automaker.

The Nightingale name has roots in company history, connected to La Rossignol, a French Riviera property owned by Sir Henry Royce that shaped the early creative culture of the brand. That founding spirit now serves as the foundation for a new generation of highly personalized Rolls-Royce commissions.

Stretching 18.9 feet in length, the two-seater rides on the brand’s Architecture of Luxury platform and sits atop 24-inch wheels — the largest ever fitted to a Rolls-Royce. The decision to go fully electric went beyond environmental considerations, with engineers finding that removing a combustion powertrain allowed for far cleaner body lines and unbroken exterior surfaces.

Art Deco geometry and seafaring aesthetics converge across the exterior. The front end is defined by a bold grille flanked by narrow vertical headlights, while the bodywork flows into deeply contoured fenders. A single steel accent line threads from nose to tail, amplifying the car’s elongated proportions. The rear takes its cues from the movement of water behind a yacht hull, with sweeping tail fins and layered lighting elements completing the look.

The cabin draws its emotional core from the sound of birdsong, expressed through a wraparound ambient lighting system designed to make every journey feel like a fully immersive sensory experience.
