Freeman’s Village Scorpions recorded their second win in as many matches in Group 1 of the Parham Super League (PSL) when, on Saturday, they made light work of East Furlong to claim a 5-0 triumph at the Parham community field.
Contesting the opening game of a double-header, Scorpions were led by Kyle Grayman who recorded a double, netting in minutes 40 and 45. Brandon Satchell opened the scoring when he struck from the penalty spot in the 30th minute while Mekai Lewis netted in the 55th and Tristan Benjamin rounded off the team’s dominance with a 58th minute conversion.
Meanwhile in Group 2, Potters Tigers recorded a one-nil win over Parham. The lone strike of the contest came from Joshua Roach in the 60th minute.
The competition continues Wednesday when Pigotts Bullets play Potters Tigers at 6:00 p.m. and Garden Stars face Freeman’s Village at 7:30 p.m.
