By Aaron Humes: After the hottest temperatures of the year recorded yesterday, Saturday, northern Belize is currently experiencing a wave of moderate to heavy rainfall, attributed to a weak cold front sweeping across the region; thunderstorms have been reported in several areas.
Today, Sunday, May 3, moderate rains are anticipated to continue in various parts of the country’s interior, contributing to already high humidity levels in some locations.
The National Meteorological Service’s forecast is for isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms to develop over inland areas during the afternoon and evening hours and mainly over the south tonight.
