By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Former UDP Leader Shyne Barrow has launched another sharp attack against the current leadership of the United Democratic Party, claiming Belizeans are losing confidence in the opposition.
In a lengthy statement shared publicly, Barrow said many UDP supporters across the country are frustrated with the performance of Opposition Leader Tracy Panton and the current direction of the party.
Barrow argued that the UDP has failed to present meaningful solutions to national issues, particularly crime, and accused party leaders of focusing on political theatrics instead of policy.
He also criticized the party’s handling of the last general election campaign, claiming the UDP failed to present a clear vision to voters.
The comments are the latest sign that tensions within the opposition party remain far from over.
