Skincare brand GLO30 is here for every bride-to-be and anyone in between, helping their members target their skin needs through medical science and technology.

Dr. Arleen Lamba is the doctor, founder and CEO of the skincare brand that provides science-backed facials with customized, season-adapted treatments.

Why the name GLO30?
We wanted to make a name that would make a routine or ritual – something they remember. Our whole concept is that you come into our studios every 30 days. We aim to help your skin in its skin cell cycle, and so every 30 days we do a non-invasive but very, very customized prescriptive treatment to help your skin’s health. And the “30,” the zero is an “O.” And it’s the same “O” that is in GLO. And the reason we did that is because it shows the skin cell cycle as a circle. But we also did that because of global; we believe skincare is a global phenomenon for all colors.

How does the membership model work for skincare?
The goal is that our members pay a monthly due, and we have three tiers of membership. They pay a monthly due, they come on in and they get a treatment. When they get a treatment, a credit is applied to that treatment, so nothing comes out of pocket. If they are unable to come one month, that credit rolls over, and they can utilize it at a different time.

Why is GLO30 ideal for brides-to-be?
I will kind of tell you more from my own story. When I was a bride, I didn’t have the best skin. I was in my 20s, and I was struggling with my skin. I had adult onset acne, pigmentation, and people really made me feel bad about it.

At that time, the solutions were limited, and I tried the solutions. It just didn’t help me; I was lost. In fact, I feel like some of them made my skin worse. And I remember being with my makeup artist, and everybody would have a comment, and everybody would try to cover it up. I realized it wasn’t one intense treatment that was going to fix this. You know, it would be great if we put a program together for brides that would work for them.

We have a bride program. Not an expensive program, you know, brides are paying for so many things, but a program that they could actually do every 30 days, something they could keep up before and after weddings. It was really put together because of an experience I had as a bride, which was an experience that has stayed with me to date. There’s a science to skin, skin tones, ethnicities and habits. Being a woman of color myself, I’ve always been very mindful of that.
