By Zoila Palma: Today, Smart Belize proudly donated $10,000 worth of lumber to support the rebuilding efforts in San Pedro Columbia, Toledo District, following the recent devastating fires.
“This contribution represents a joint effort between the generous donations of our customers through the Smart Cares Program and Smart’s continued commitment to supporting the communities we serve,” Smart noted.
Smart says that it believes in the power of community, compassion, and coming together in times of need.
“Supporting Belizeans through difficult moments is part of what we stand for, and we are honored to play a role in helping families rebuild their homes and move forward with hope.
We thank everyone who contributed to this initiative and for demonstrating what can be achieved when we come together for a greater purpose,” Smart added.
