Toby Fox Has a First on the Billboard Charts With ‘Deltarune’ Soundtrack

Deltarune creator and composer Toby Fox earns a new achievement on the Billboard charts dated July 11, reaching a songs-based ranking for the first time via “Flower Man” and “Cutie Mew Mew Magic.”

The pair of tracks bow at Nos. 13 and 18, respectively, on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart amid the release of the Deltarune: Chapter 5 soundtrack, which itself makes multiple lists following chapter five’s June 24 release.

In the week ending July 2, Deltarune: Chapter 5 earned 9,000 equivalent album units in the United States, according to Luminate. The majority of that sum is via streaming equivalent units (8,000), followed by 1,000 in album sales.

As a result, Deltarune: Chapter 5 bows at No. 3 on the Soundtracks chart and at No. 5 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums. It’s Fox’s first time on the latter, while previous editions of Deltarune soundtracks made the former, with his previous best being the No. 5 peak of Deltarune: Chapters 3+4 in 2025.

“Flower Man” accumulated 1.4 million chart-eligible streams toward its No. 13 Hot Dance/Electronic Songs bow, while “Cutie Mew Mew Magic” racked up 1.1 million streams to start at No. 18. Both songs feature Japanese electronic artist Camellia.

The tracks are two of 40 total songs available on the Deltarune: Chapter 5 soundtrack, a companion to Fox’s episodic video game of the same name. Its first chapter was released in 2018, with the third and fourth preceding chapter five’s release in 2025. Two other chapters are currently planned, with the sixth scheduled for 2027 and the seventh currently sans a release date.
