Race War, the compelling documentary presented by Turning Point USA RISE, highlights what it frames as a critical need to dismantle Critical Race Theory and affirmative action narratives within our education system, media, and political institutions in order to promote what it defines as true diversity, equality, and empowerment.

RISE, a division of Turning Point USA, is currently touring cities across the United States to preview the film for audiences, accompanied by special guest commentary from members of the cast. Race War– TV Mini Series screened in Sandy Springs, Georgia, on Wednesday afternoon to a standing-room-only theater. The screening was open to the general public, with many Black families in attendance to experience the documentary.

Guests were treated to complimentary refreshments and food during the event. Following the screening, director Marcus Wada hosted a Q&A session with members of the cast, giving audience members the opportunity to engage and ask additional questions. The film did not hold back, highlighting what it presents as myths and misconceptions within the Black community. Throughout the premiere, audience reactions ranged from gasps of surprise and shock to moments of applause during key scenes. The energy in the room reflected both engagement and curiosity as attendees absorbed the film’s messaging.

As guests exited the theater, it was clear that if the goal was to encourage viewers to see issues from a new perspective, the cast and crew executed that intention effectively. Only the first episode aired, leaving attendees eager to see what comes next.

Race War pulls viewers in from the very beginning. It is a well-edited body of work that delivers information the creators believe is important for the community to consider. The aim of the documentary is to encourage minority groups—Black, Hispanic, and Asian communities—to define their own narratives. While there remains division within Black America—between those who believe systemic barriers tied to race limit opportunity and those who believe success is attainable through hard work alone, the film places these perspectives side by side, allowing viewers to draw their own conclusions.

TPUSA RISE is described as one of the largest minority conservative grassroots movements in the nation. The organization focuses on strengthening families and reclaiming culture within minority communities through high-energy events, community outreach, and educational initiatives. Its mission centers on empowering Black, Hispanic, Asian, and other minority groups to rise above division while embracing faith, family, and freedom.

The documentary series is directed and produced by Marcus Wada and is associated with Turning Point USA’s RISE initiative. It features commentary from voices such as Vince Ellison, along with appearances by Larry Elder, Ben Carson, Voddie Baucham Jr., and Carol Swain. The film is presented as suitable for a wide audience and aims to communicate the message that opportunity exists regardless of race. It’s also commendable to see this division apart of the legacy of Charlie Kirk is keeping his fight alive.

The Race War promotional tour will continue in additional cities, including Columbus, Ohio, and Waco, Texas. For more information on upcoming screenings and events, visit the TPUSA RISE website TPUSA RISE
