UBA Chairman, Tony Elumelu decries hardship in the country.

Nigerians call him a hypocrite.
The Chairman of UBA bank in Nigeria, Tony Elumelu has taken to his official Twitter handle to decry the hardships faced by millions of Nigerians in the country.Nigeria has been going through tough times with challenges ranging from security, fuel scarcity, food inflation, power outage, price hikes and a lot more.
According to the entrepreneur, he overheard his colleagues at the office lamenting over the poor state of electricity for the past five days. Tony Elumelu emphasized that it was shocking the hardship in the country despite her natural resources and asked "what exactly is Nigeria's problem?" , “Why are we paying taxes if our security agencies can’t stop this? It is clear that the reason Nigeria is unable to meet its OPEC production quota is not because of low investment but because of theft. Pure and simple.”
He, however, advised that Nigerians  be vocal about 2023, and advocate for leaders that are capable with an ability to deliver. He stated that if good people are silent, evil will prevail. In all of this, Nigerians have taken to their social media channels to bash the entrepreneur calling him a hypocrite who could have done more than just speak up and accused him of having a say in the election just like other wealthy businessmen and now acting to speak up against the people they gave their go ahead into power. They warned him never to try to bribe Nigerians because he does not understand their plight being in the wealthy end.
Africa is a nation blessed with massive and numerous resources but this resources can only come into full force for the betterment of the countries only if good leaders are elected. Leaders with an ability to spot opportunities, fine tune them, organize manpower in the right way, use the available resources efficiently and effectively, make the right decisions, oversee structures and have the best interest of their subjects at heart. While the world is currently undergoing changes and evolving. Countries are trying to bounce back from the effect of the pandemic and this effort is even more burdening on the African countries who seem to have other challenges enmass.
