After drawing with hosts Zimbabwe in the official opening match at the 2026 CAF African Schools championship on Easter Monday, Uganda has a busy time on match day two.
This Tuesday, 7th April 2026, Uganda has a double header against Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Morocco.
First, Uganda will face Democratic Republic of Congo at 1 PM before facing Morocco in the evening duel at Gateway High School playground, Harare city.
Uganda and Zimbabwe shared the spoils on Easter Monday. The hosts took the lead through Moses Maremudze and Uganda replied with Bashir Edema’s goal.
“The game (against Zimbabwe) was so disappointing. After creating so many chances and managing to score just once, our opponents created once and put it away. A point is not bad. We shall build on the point attained as look forward tomorrow’s games.” Zzungu hinted in the post match interview.
Meanwhile, Morocco humiliated Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) 6-0 in the other Group A contest.
Tanzania is the reigning champions (boys) and Ghana has the girls’ title.
