WEATHER: Wet weekend expected in these provinces
This is what the weather has in store for you in KwaZulu-Natal, Free State and North West over the weekend.
A weekend indoors may be your best option as thundershowers are on the horizon. Here’s what you can expect for KwaZulu-Natal, Free State and North West on Saturday, 18 April and Sunday, 19 April.
KWAZULU-NATAL
Morning fog patches are expected in the northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal. The rest of the day will be otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers. Despite the rain, the expected UVB sunburn index is high.
DURBAN
Durban can expect partly cloudy conditions with isolated showers and thundershowers on Saturday afternoon. A minimum of 22°C and a maximum of 26°C is expected. Sunday will be cloudy with temperatures expected between 21°C and 29°C.
FREE STATE
Free State will be cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers over the weekend.
BLOEMFONTEIN
Saturday in Bloem will be cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers. A low of 10°C and a high of 22°C is expected. Showers and thundershowers are predicted for Sunday, with a minimum of 10°C and a maximum of 26°C.
NORTH WEST
Cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in the North West.
MAHIKENG
Cloudy conditions with isolated showers and thundershowers, with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 23°C. More showers and thundershowers are expected on Sunday, with temperatures between 15°C and 26°C.
