By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A late-night confrontation involving a woman and her former partner is under investigation in Dangriga.
Police say the woman had just arrived home with her current partner when her ex approached and asked her to leave with him.
She declined but agreed to speak nearby.
During that exchange, she alleges that he grabbed her by the hand before she pulled away.
Her phone also fell during the incident and was left with a crack on the screen.
The woman later went to the Dangriga Police Station and made a report.
She told investigators she does not want court action taken but would like police to speak with her former partner about what happened.
Officers attempted to locate him but were unsuccessful.
The investigation remains open.
