By Zoila Palma: Crime Stoppers Belize is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the murder of 33-year-old Belize City resident Barry Johnson.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Monday, September 7, 2026 in the Kings Park area of Belize City. At least two armed men reportedly exited a dark-colored SUV at the corner of F and 7th Streets and opened fire.
The shooting left one man injured and claimed the life of Johnson.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are seeking information that could assist in identifying and apprehending those responsible.
Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to contact Crime Stoppers Belize at 922, submit information through the P3 Tips app, or report directly to the nearest police station.
