Celebrated global sports influencer Robbie Lyle has confirmed a six-day visit to Uganda, sparking widespread excitement among football fans and digital creators across the country.
The confirmation came via a poster on his socials with a message “We are coming to explore Uganda.”
The message comes a day after the tour organizers made similar announcements in Kampala while urging fans to turn up to the party in droves.
The UK-based media entrepreneur, best known for founding Arsenal Fan TV, is expected to arrive on April 24 alongside co-presenters Cecil Jee Thomas and Lee Judges.
Interestingly, Judges will be visiting Africa for the first time.
Lyle will travel with an 11-member team, including his production crew, for a series of high-profile engagements.

Ugandans have already stormed Lyle’s social media pages to welcome him, expressing excitement ahead of the visit.
Among those who publicly welcomed him is the famous tourism entrepreneur Amos Wekesa, reflecting growing anticipation within both the sports and tourism sectors.
During his stay, Lyle is expected to headline a watch party for the English Premier League clash between Arsenal FC and Newcastle United on April 25 at Kati-Kati Restaurant, Kampala, along Lugogo By-Pass Road.
He will also host a content creation workshop aimed at empowering Ugandan youth with skills in digital storytelling and online monetization.
The itinerary further includes a two-day tour of national parks, where Lyle and his team will showcase Uganda’s tourism attractions to millions of global viewers.
Another watch party is planned for the UEFA Champions League tie between Atlético Madrid and Arsenal, alongside a fan meet-and-greet.

Lyle has previously visited Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and Sierra Leone, and is reported to have prioritised Uganda over upcoming trips to South Africa, Rwanda, and Ethiopia.
With one of the fastest-growing economies on the continent, this tour points to Uganda’s strategy to position herself as a sporting tourism hub Uganda is positioning itself as a sporting tourism hub and is set to co-host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations alongside Kenya and Tanzania.
The Government of Uganda, Guinness, Uganda Airlines, Kampala Serena Hotel, Vision Group are some of the partners.
