Sikh Games Canada — a landmark event where passion meets purpose, and heritage meets heroism and games are a living embodiment of community spirit, cultural pride, and athletic excellence — was held at Tamanawis Park in Surrey.
What started in 2008 as a local field hockey tournament has blossomed into one of the largest multicultural sporting festivals in North America, drawing over 20,000 attendees every year. It’s more than a competition — it’s a celebration of identity, diversity, and the values of Sikhism rooted in Seva (selfless service), say the organizers. The event was hosted by the Surinder Lions Club.
