New York City’s breakthrough electronic artist BrokinPaper is excited to reveal his first single of 2026, “Damage,” a brooding, high-energy track out now. “Damage” will serve as the lead single ahead of BrokinPaper’s new album, FUNCTION OVER FORM, arriving in September. He will also make his first live appearance of the year on May 29 with a headlining performance at Trans-Pecos in Queens.
With “Damage,” BrokinPaper offers something darker, heavier, leaning into distorted textures and warehouse-ready energy while pulling from UK bass and UK garage influences to keep it fluid and unpredictable.
