Davido Highlights Politicians’ Wealth Accountability
Peter Obi discussed his American Express Platinum Card, noting it was introduced in 1987 for a limited group of 5,000 individuals. He also revealed the existence of the Black Card, or Centurion Card, which debuted in 1999, available to just 1,000 people globally.
Obi mentioned that he had a successful business prior to his political career but expressed that entering politics had negatively impacted his finances, saying he did not regret the decision.
Rufai Oseni, a journalist, shared this video on X, urging Nigerian politicians to be transparent about their wealth accumulation. He asked, “Can every Nigerian politician tell us how they made their money like this?”
Davido quoted Oseni’s post, making his stance clear with the remark: “None of them can try it 
”.
