Simo Dladla says Durban City had no easy games leading up to their Nedbank Cup win

The coach of the 2026 Nedbank Cup champions, Durban City, says the players should get credit for the victory on Saturday night at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, Limpopo.
Simo Dladla was speaking after City won by two goals to one against TS Galaxy.
City has become the first team from KwaZulu-Natal to lift the Nedbank Cup. Dladla says the players worked hard to secure the game.

“For me, it’s more about the boys. I’m sure you have seen them there on the field after the game. To see them so happy brings joy to my heart and the technical team members because they fought from the first round, round of 32, up until the final. No game has been easy. Basically, the credit goes to all the players,” says Dladla.
