*Ice Spice is not letting a McDonald’s brawl go unanswered — and she made that clear both online and in court.
The rapper took to X Friday to address the violent confrontation that erupted at a Hollywood location Wednesday, posting a clip of a new song alongside a pointed message: “This wouldn’t happen at a Wendy’s” — a clear wink at her existing partnership with the fast food chain.
Security cameras caught the entire episode on video, and TMZ was first to circulate the footage. It shows Ice Spice seated in a booth with a companion when a woman, later identified as Vayah, walked over to their table without an invitation. When the rapper signaled she was not welcome, the woman reacted with immediate physical force, slapping Ice Spice and sending the restaurant into full chaos. Ice Spice responded by climbing over booths and tables in pursuit of the aggressor before the chaos moved outside.
The street became the second battleground, and at one point Ice Spice was knocked to the ground. Vayah has since gone public with her side of the story, saying she approached Ice Spice with nothing but good intentions — but claims the rapper’s response shifted the energy, leading her to strike first.
Variety reports that Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen is now taking legal action. “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” he said.
The legal team is additionally examining whether the restaurant chain shares liability for the events that unfolded on its property.
Cohen continued, “Not to mention that the individuals involved obviously did not realize that we would get the video from inside the McDonald’s where the unprovoked attack occurred. They then turned their cameras on after the initial attack as if to set our client up, and as they say on the video to ‘go viral.’ The only thing that will be going viral for them is their mugshots.”
