Kaizer Chiefs star Langelihle Phili has realised a dream. The 21-year-old could make his Glamour Boys debut soon.

With Phili’s arrival, Chiefs have several wide attacking options. There’s the option of right-footed Asanele Velebayi as an inverted left winger, while Phili’s two-footedness makes him a great option on that flank too. Pule Mmodi, often deployed wide on the left, could be falling further down the pecking order. Meanwhile, 21-year-old Phili, known for his low centre of gravity, trickery and accurate shooting, is pumped about the move:

“Everyone at home supports Amakhosi, so I thought it would be a good move for me to join the team I grew up supporting and being here feels like my dream has really come true.”

Is Duba Kaizer Chiefs’ most important player?

A return of three goals and two assists in 18 league outings last term isn’t brilliant, but he does have a knack for scoring spectacular goals, often in big games. Will that attract interest from elsewhere in South Africa or abroad? If so, would Chiefs entertain big offers for Duba?
