KCCA Women target scalp against newcomers Jinja United

KCCA Women will be seeking to get back to winning ways on Thursday as they welcome Jinja United to Lugogo.

The Kampala Queens played out a frustrating goalless draw against Makerere University in their previous outing and now want to return to the winning rail.

Coach Hamuza Lutalo expects a reaction from his charges to keep pace with the leading pack.

“We have prepared quite well, and everyone is in the perfect condition to play. The target is to win so that we drop far off from the leading pack,” he said.

Jinja United, on the other hand, are yet to get a single point in their debut season and sit bottom of the table after three games.

The game will kick off at exactly 3:00 p.m. EAT and will serve as a curtain raiser to the Uganda Premier League game between KCCA and UPDF. This is a move aimed at having more fans attracted to the Women’s game.

Matchday Four action will continue on Friday with Uganda Martyrs hosting She Corporate in Lugogo. On Saturday, She Maroons will entertain St. Noa while Amus College will welcome Champions Kawempe Muslim.

Sunday will see URA Ladies taking on Rines SS, while Makerere University will host Lady Doves.
