Mahikeng community activist Thato Molosankwe’s family says they are saddened by his brutal killing.
Molosankwe was shot and killed in the early hours of Wednesday at his home in Lomanayaneng village outside Mahikeng.

His brother Leviticus Molosankwe says the activist was shot multiple times.
“When I arrived there I found the police already cordoned off the area. We were told paramedics are on the way. Indeed when they arrived they left after ten minutes and that was a confirmation to me that Thato may have passed on. We heard that there 12 bullets that shot him, but as we have seen his face, the bullet did not hit his upper body.”
