By Zoila Palma: A Dangriga woman is $292,000 richer after winning the Mega Bingo jackpot following the purchase of her winning ticket from Xian Dali Store.
The longtime player said she was at work when she decided to purchase a ticket, despite initially deciding not to.
The winner said she has been purchasing Mega Bingo tickets for years and never expected to land the jackpot.
Recalling the moment she realized she had won, she said, “I was at work playing but I said I wasn’t gonna buy but I did and when I won, I didn’t even want to finish the hours.”
The winner said she plans to use the money to complete construction of her house.
Describing the experience of winning the life-changing prize, she joked about suddenly gaining new acquaintances, saying she felt “nervous like right now because you have friends that you didn’t have and boyfriends that you didn’t have.”
