South African house trio Mi Casa are set to headline the ‘Soulection’ concert in Windhoek, bringing together their live instrumentation.
The event is scheduled to take place at Hage Geingob Rugby Stadium on 2 May, with an expected crowd of up to 10 000 people.
Organiser Recallen Philander describes the collaboration as “a meeting of versatility, blending Mi Casa’s deep house and R&B roots with the curated, soulful DJ culture associated with the Soulection brand’’.
The line-up features a mix of Soulection-affiliated DJs and selected local performers.
While the specific names of the supporting acts are being withheld for a staggered reveal in the days leading up to the show, the organisers have confirmed that the flow of the event is designed to build energy progressively.
Local DJs and artists will manage the daytime and early evening sets, with Mi Casa performing as the final headline act to close the night.
DJ Antz, one of the organisers of the event, also highlighted that there will be a food court featuring various local vendors, while multiple bars will serve refreshments, including dedicated cocktail and shooter stations.
A market space will also be available, featuring stalls with local art, clothing, and exclusive event merchandise including a new design launching specifically at this show.
Interactive photo booths and brand-led installations will be positioned throughout the venue to encourage social media engagement. For those interested in the music and dancing, a large dance floor will be situated directly in front of the main stage.
Tickets are divided into two main categories to manage the large capacity. General Access includes the main dance floor, bars, and food court. While some seating is provided in the stadium stands, attendees are permitted to bring their own camping chairs for use within this section.
For those seeking an upgraded experience, there are two distinct VIP sections.
One is for single-ticket holders and another for table bookings. Both offer private bars, dedicated restrooms, and an exclusive viewing area positioned directly at the front of the stage for a closer view of the performances.
Organisers have stated that this event is intended to be a continuation of their cultural programming rather than a once-off show.
The goal is to create a space for social connection through a mix of live and digital sounds, representing a major milestone in the local 2026 entertainment calendar.
