Millet/Vanard secured a dominant seven-wicket victory over L’Abayee in the John Estephane Veterans T20 Tapeball Tournament which cemented their spot in finals. The fixture was played on January 26, at the Balata Playing Field.
Batting first, L’Abayee were restricted to 126-6. Their innings was anchored by Julius Archie Simon, who top-scored with 53 runs, supported by Shalamia Biscette with 21. The wickets were shared among the Millet bowlers, with Justus Leo claiming two, while Avitus James, Bradley Giddings, Shervon Leo, and David Justin each picked up one.
In response, Millet/Vanard made light work of the target, chasing it down in just 14 overs. Aloysius Charles played a stunning knock of 54, while Marvin Charles contributed a valuable 31, both instrumental in sealing the victory.
