By Zoila Palma: Today, Osmond Martinez, Minister of State in the Ministry of Economic Transformation, and his delegation met with Belizean students in Taiwan.
The students shared their experiences and perspectives on their studies, culture, and life in Taiwan.
Minister Martinez emphasized that studying in Taiwan contributes to Belize’s human capital development by exposing students to advanced training and real-world innovation in areas where the country needs deeper expertise, particularly information technology, international relations, public health, and border security.
Minister Martinez and his delegation are visiting Taiwan from July 27 to 31, 2026.
