MTN Ghana Calls for Disciplined Execution to Drive National Transformation

MTN Ghana  has underscored the importance of disciplined execution in driving the country’s transformation, with the company’s Chief Transformation Officer, William Tetteh, urging organisations to pair bold ideas with effective implementation.

Speaking as the opening keynote speaker at the PMI Ghana National Project Management Conference & Project Management Excellence Awards 2026, held under the theme “Beyond Vision: Delivering Ghana’s Transformation,” Tetteh highlighted the critical role of strong leadership, governance and accountability in ensuring projects deliver sustainable value.

According to Tetteh, lasting transformation requires more than technological innovation, noting that organisations must combine innovation with disciplined planning, collaboration and a continuous focus on delivering value to customers.

The conference also featured insights from Benard Agblevor, Project Lead, Managed Network Solutions at MTN Ghana, who called for Ghana to reduce its reliance on expatriate expertise by investing in local talent and institutional capacity.

Agblevor emphasized the importance of developing local capabilities and systems to support the country’s long-term growth and strengthen the successful delivery of projects across industries.

Through its participation in the conference, MTN Ghana reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Ghana’s transformation by promoting effective project management, leadership excellence and the development of local expertise.
