KAMPALA: UGANDAN President, Yoweri Museveni, has officially been sworn in for a seventh term in office, extending his leadership of the country since first assuming power in 1986.

The inauguration ceremony was held in Kampala and attended by various local and international leaders, including government officials, diplomats, and invited guests from different African countries.

Museveni, who is among Africa’s longest-serving leaders, pledged to continue strengthening Uganda’s economy, maintaining national security, and advancing development for citizens during his new term in office.
