ONTARIO’S Peel Regional Police investigators from the Fraud Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted individual for failing to comply with conditions of their release.
In February 2021, Jaspal Thiara, a 39-year-old man of no fixed address, was arrested and charged in connection with a fraud investigation, including multiple counts of fraud over $5,000. He was subsequently released on an undertaking with conditions.
It is alleged that Thiara failed to comply with the conditions of his release. As a result, a warrant has been issued for his arrest for two counts of fail to comply with release order.
Thiara is described as a South Asian man, 5’9”, approximately 180 lbs., with short black and grey hair, brown eyes, and a medium complexion.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact investigators with the Fraud Bureau at 905-453-2121, ext. 3335. Anonymous information may also be submitted by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or visiting peelcrimestoppers.ca.
