By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police in San Ignacio have detained Johanna Cartella after investigation revealed that she threw a pot of hot water on her common-law husband Leonard Pandy which is believed to have caused his death.
Pandy’s body was found inside his home in Red Creek, Santa Elena around 5:21 am on Tuesday.
Pandy’s body was found on a mattress on the floor with burn injuries to the left side of his body.
Cartella and Pandy reportedly got into an argument and she allegedly threw a pot of hot water on him causing the injuries.
His body now awaits a post-mortem examination.
