Two men have been charged following coordinated police operations carried out in Odsan, Castries, and Cacao, Babonneau, targeting narcotics activity.
According to police, officers from the Gangs, Narcotics and Firearms Unit, supported by the K9 Unit, conducted the operations on Wednesday, January 28, 2025. The exercise involved the execution of search warrants at two separate locations.
In Odsan, police executed a warrant which led to the discovery of approximately 100 grammes of cannabis resin, with an estimated street value of $3 500. One man, identified as 29-year-old Hassan Rambally, was arrested in connection with the seizure.

The second operation was carried out in Cacao at the residence of 43-year-old Terry Xavier, also known as Big T. During that search, officers reportedly discovered and seized a quantity of narcotics, including 0.18 kilogrammes of crack cocaine and 0.142 kilogrammes of cannabis resin.

Both Rambally and Xavier were subsequently charged with possession of controlled drugs and possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to another.
The two men appeared separately before the court for bail hearings on Friday, January 30. Rambally was granted bail in the sum of $3 500, while Xavier was granted bail in the amount of $7 500.
