ON Wednesday, April 22 at approximately 8:13 a.m., Langley RCMP responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 264 Street and 24 Avenue.
First responders from the Township of Langley Fire Department, British Columbia Ambulance Service, and Langley RCMP immediately attended the scene.
“One individual was transported to a local area hospital in critical and life‑threatening condition,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. “The Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been deployed to assist with the investigation.”
Road closures are in effect in the immediate area and are expected to remain in place for several hours while investigators continue their work. Motorists and other road users are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed this collision is asked to contact Langley RCMP at 604‑532‑3200 and quote file number 2026‑12192.
