With a visual style reminiscent of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse mixed with the fast-paced energy of The Fast and the Furious, the film brings a fresh perspective to the screen.

“It’s a good mix of street racing and the culture of Atlanta,” said Tronda Jazz, co-producer. “I hope people enjoy it for what it is, showing what we do in the culture.”
Directed by Grzegorz Jonkajtys and co-written by Jeb Stuart and Brandon Easton, TAKEOVER stars Quavo, Billy Zane, Serayah, LaMonica Garrett and Martin Sensmeier. The film follows Guy Miller, a man recently released from prison, as he is pulled back into chaos over the course of 24 hours in Atlanta. As he navigates danger and confronts his past, the story unfolds against the backdrop of the city’s takeover scene.

For many fans, seeing Quavo share the screen with his late nephew Takeoff became one of the film’s biggest emotional draws, adding another layer of significance to the project.
“I am proud of Takeoff and Quavo. What they’ve accomplished as a group can never be taken away from them,” said Dennis McKinley, founder of MusicXchange. “Just seeing them crossover from music to film shows they were always working.”
TAKEOVER is brought to life through Trioscope’s hybrid animation process, blending live-action performances with a graphic novel-inspired visual style.
As the credits rolled, TAKEOVER proved to be more than just a high-speed action film. With its mix of street racing and visually striking animation, the movie delivers an entertaining look into Atlanta’s culture while also giving audiences a memorable on-screen moment between Quavo and Takeoff.
