Two people died and three were injured in Ntshongweni, after they were shot on their way to funeral.
Two people have died, and three were injured in Ntshongweni, in the Outer West of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, after they were shot by unknown men while on their way to a funeral on Saturday.
According to an eyewitness, after hearing multiple gunshots, they rushed to the road and found a Suzuki Ertiga in a ditch after it lost control.
Two of the occupants had already died at the scene.
It is alleged that five men were travelling in the car to a funeral. The motive behind the attack is still unknown, and no arrests have been made so far.
