*VH1 is preparing to bring the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise to a close with a newly announced limited series that will revisit its legacy and cultural influence. Titled “Love & Hip Hop: The Final Chapter,” the six-part project is set to premiere in fall 2026 and will serve as a retrospective on the long-running reality brand.

Since launching in 2011, “Love & Hip Hop” has evolved into a major force in reality television, helping introduce new talent and amplify voices that often went unheard. Over the years, the series expanded across multiple cities, including New York, Atlanta, Hollywood, and Miami, while shaping conversations around music, relationships, and entrepreneurship.

Per the news release, the upcoming series will revisit the franchise’s defining moments, from its breakout personalities to the controversies that fueled public discussion. It will also explore how cast members built their careers and businesses beyond the show, while examining the broader cultural footprint left behind after more than a decade on air.

New interviews will feature participants from across all versions of the series, along with producers, executives, journalists, and cultural commentators. Together, they will reflect on how the franchise developed and the role it played in reshaping the modern reality television landscape.

Lashan Browning, Founder and CEO of Antoinette Media and executive producer of “Love & Hip Hop: The Final Chapter,” said, “The ‘Love & Hip Hop’ franchise has always been about the people. The incredible talent who trusted us with their real lives, the exceptional producers who poured themselves into every storyline, my extraordinary team at Antoinette Media who showed up and showed out season after season, and the viewers who were here for all of it. Their dedication is why this franchise resonated for so many years. As we step into this final chapter, we’re making sure our ending hits like it should, for our talent in front of and behind the camera, and for every fan who’s been rocking with us from day one. Once more for the culture.”

Sitarah Pendelton, Executive Vice President of Unscripted at MTV Entertainment, added, “Love & Hip Hop has been a part of the fabric of VH1 and of the culture for over 15 years. This limited series is our love letter to the cast, fans, producers, and everyone who made the franchise a success and forever changed reality television.”

As the franchise winds down, current installments will continue airing, with “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” on MTV airing Tuesdays at 8 PM ET/PT, and “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” every Wednesday on BET at 8 PM ET/PT. The final chapter will also be featured on BET’s digital platform BET Immersed, offering additional behind-the-scenes content and exclusive material tied to the show’s legacy.
