Jeanclaude Regobert, 21, is the second person to be charged with the murder of Michael Zacchaeus Charlery, 29, who was fatally shot multiple times in Conway, Castries, on March 18, 2026.
According to a statement from the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force on April 9, Regobert was formally charged on April 7 with murder and attempted murder.
Bertwin Eugene, 35, was also previously charged with murder and attempted murder on March 31, 2026, in connection with Charlery’s death.

Regobert and Eugene appeared in the First District Court for bail hearings and were subsequently remanded to the Bordelais Correctional Facility.
Police are continuing to investigate Charlery’s murder. On the evening of March 18, Charlery was found in Conway with multiple gunshot wounds and was treated by the Saint Lucia Fire Service. He was transported to the Owen King European Hospital, where a medical practitioner pronounced him dead.
