Africa Liberation Day - ALD
Since 1975 the PACM has held consistently to the ideology of Pan-Africanism. It is a Revolutionary Pan-African organisation holding to the principles and practice of race first. The organisation is the most prominent Pan-African organization in the world and has remained the most consistent and determined. One of the major observations of the organisation is ALD every year, for three days over the bank holiday weekend closest to the 25th of May - the official date of ALD as designated by the Organization of African Unity (OAU) in 1963. ALD is an international forum where Africans get together in an exclusive gathering to plan and discuss strategies for our liberation.
May 2025 will be the 50th consecutive ALD commemoration that the PACM will observe. It is promoting the theme ‘The Grand African Renaissance’ – a significant focus for the African heritage family, business, and community.
