Airtel Uganda has welcomed Buremba Senior Secondary School in Kazo District to the Airtel Africa Foundation ’s Adopt A School Programme, extending support to 719 learners and 23 teachers.
Under the programme, the school received a refurbished computer laboratory, 10 desktop computers and a high-speed internet connection. The initiative also included improvements to the school’s learning environment.
The support is expected to give students more opportunities to integrate technology into their everyday education while equipping teachers with additional tools to support instruction and introduce learners to more digital resources.
Buremba is one of four schools included in the programme’s latest rollout in Uganda. The other schools are Arua Public Primary School, Kibeedi C/U Primary School and Kasaana I Primary School.
