A baby elephant tore a page from mama’s book and made over 14 million people smile!
South Africa (22 May 2026) – Joining Bumpy and his barrel roles in the adorable ranks this week is this little baby elephant.
Guests on safari were scared straight out of their boots on a game drive, when they were mock charged by an elephant. A ferocious one, with big flappy ears and fearsome grunts.
Of course, taking heed of the warning, the ranger manning the vehicle made the wise decision to back up quickly and get out of Dodge.
You don’t mess with baby ellies who protect their mama.
The video was captured by a traveller on safari and shared on social media by Jodi Ford. The clip has racked up over 14.3 million views on Instagram!
“They could at least act terrified,” wrote one commenter.
“All the fury in such a little body,” shared another.
“Careful that little dude means business” someone warned.
