By Breaking Belize News Staff: A viral Facebook fight between two Belize City women known on social media as “Bad Freak” and “War Rior” has resulted in a disorderly conduct charge, with one woman fined and the other still being sought by police.
Twenty-two-year-old Britney Nichole Daly, also known as “Bad Freak,” appeared in Court #3 at the Belize City Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 29, where she pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.
The charge arose from a public fight on Freedom Street on Tuesday, July 28, involving Daly and Shala Smith, also known as “War Rior.” Video of the altercation quickly circulated on social media.
Police reportedly arrived after the fight had ended and those involved had already dispersed. Authorities later used footage from the Police Fusion Centre’s surveillance cameras to identify the women, leading to Daly’s detention.
Daly, a musician who resides at #22 Freedom Street, was fined $150 plus $5 in court costs. She has until September 30, 2026, to pay the total, or she will face one month in prison.
Outside the courthouse, Daly was asked what prompted the fight.
“To prove a point,” she replied before entering a waiting taxi.
Police say Smith remains at large and is being sought for the same charge of disorderly conduct.
