By Jose Luis Cruz: On Sunday afternoon police received reports that a male individual had not been seen by neighbours for about three (3) days. Acting on the reports, police proceeded to the home of the individual located on Delcyia Goff Street in Belama Phase 4, Belize City.
Upon arrival, police found the body of the man, known to the neighbours only as “Hondo”, in an advanced state of decomposition.
The scene was processed by Scenes of Crime (SOC) personnel and “Hondo’s” body was retrieved and transported to the morgue at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).
The body was later identified to be that of Hector Arriola Sr., a carpenter of Belize City.
