Zambia U17 Women’s National Team beat Rwanda U17 Women’s National Team 2-1 to progress to the next round of the 2026 FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The Copper Princesses came from a goal down to beat Rwanda 2-1 to proceed to the second round of qualification for the 2026 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
Rwanda’s Sylvie Umwanankundi put the visitors ahead with a 15th minute strike. Zambia hit back via Faith Kajiya Kapilingo 74th minute equalizer while Natasha Kasema netted from the spot in the 82nd minute.
Zambia recorded a 4-1 aggregate and will now face Congo DR.
