FROM BEHIND THE KITCHEN TO CENTER STAGE, HERMANOS ESPINOZA RETURN TO HONOR THE ROOTS THAT SHAPED THEM
Ahead of the kickoff of their LINAJE USA Tour, Joel and Leonel Espinoza will visit Birriería Guadalajara in San Diego to personally thank the restaurant's kitchen staff and invite them to Friday night's concert at SOMA. While it may seem like a simple gesture, for the brothers it represents something much greater: a return to where their own story began. Ahead of the kickoff of their LINAJE USA Tour, Joel and Leonel Espinoza will visit Birriería Guadalajara in San Diego to personally thank the restaurant’s kitchen staff and invite them to Friday night’s concert at SOMA. While it may seem like a simple gesture, for the brothers it represents something much greater: a return to where their own story began.
Long before millions of streams, sold-out shows, and national recognition, Hermanos Espinoza spent years working in restaurants, preparing food, washing dishes, and doing whatever was necessary to help support their family while chasing their dream after every shift.
HONORING THE PEOPLE WHO KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE
Restaurant workers are often among the first to arrive and the last to leave, sacrificing weekends, holidays, and long hours to build a better future for their families. Hermanos Espinoza know that reality firsthand, and that’s exactly why this visit matters. Rather than simply promoting a concert, the brothers wanted to recognize the hardworking people who continue living the life they once knew, offering them not only an invitation to the show, but a heartfelt thank you.
Their journey may have taken them to stages across the country, but they have never forgotten the community that shaped them.
THEIR AMERICAN DREAM BEGAN BEHIND A KITCHEN
The restaurant visit comes as Hermanos Espinoza celebrate one of the biggest moments of their career. Their debut album, LINAJE, was recognized by Billboard Latin as one of the 26 Best Latin Albums of 2026 (So Far), while Joel Espinoza earned a spot among Billboard’s Top 5 Latin Songwriters. The duo also boasts more than 8 million monthly Spotify listeners and became the only música mexicana artists selected for Spotify’s prestigious Artists to Watch 2026 list.
Despite the accolades, the brothers remain committed to staying connected to the communities that inspired both their music and their work ethic. That simple belief has guided Joel and Leonel since the beginning. Like many first-generation success stories, music was never just about becoming artists. It was about creating opportunities for their family and honoring the sacrifices their parents made along the way.
That purpose continues to define their career today, reminding fans that behind every milestone is a story of perseverance, sacrifice, and gratitude.
TOUR KICK-OFF IN SAN DIEGO
After spending Thursday honoring San Diego’s restaurant community, Hermanos Espinoza will officially launch their LINAJE USA Tour on Friday, July 24, at SOMA San Diego. You can still find tickets here. The performance marks the first stop of a 18-city tour and celebrates a journey that began far from the spotlight, in the kitchens where two brothers learned the meaning of hard work, family, and perseverance.
Sometimes, the most meaningful invitation isn’t to a concert. It’s a reminder that no matter how far success takes you, there’s always value in returning to thank the people who remind you where it all began.
