IFP’s Mlungisi Mabaso vows to restore Joburg to its former glory
The IFP has introduced Mabaso as its mayoral candidate for the City of Johannesburg.
The Inkatha Freedom Party’s (IFP) newly-introduced Johannesburg mayoral candidate, Mlungisi Mabaso, has vowed to restore the city to its former glory under an IFP government.
Mabaso announced his 10-point rescue plan to turn the City of Johannesburg around.
He has listed issues such as housing, employment, clean governance, and a community-centred government as being among his top priorities.
Mabaso serves as one of the youngest Members of the Mayoral Committee in Johannesburg, heading the Human Settlement portfolio.
“Johannesburg must once again become a city where people are proud to live in. The IFP will restore the culture of safety, discipline and excellence in local government. The IFP believes that clean streets matter, safe neighborhoods matter.”
